As a practicing speech-language pathologist for the past 10 years I have had the privilege and joy of providing therapy to individuals from pre-school age to geriatric age.
I have provided therapy services for: nursing homes, acute hospitals, private practices, public school districts; as well as telepractice.
I have dedicated the past 4 years to teletherapy. It has been as rewarding and impactful as face-to-face sessions for all mild to moderate cases I have worked with. The natural environment has also provided an opportunity to build rapport and family support services as part of the treatment plan. This allows for carryover of lessons and tools learned in session. My clients love the flexibility and reliability it has provided them.
